PANCAKE TUESDAY

Today was Pancake Tuesday but it certainly didn’t feel like it over here> The supermarket shelves weren’t stacked up with Pancake Mix & jars of Nutella like you typically see in almost shop in Ireland. Worse than that, I spent the day actually explaining what Pancake Tuesday was. Although I’m not entirely sure how pancakes link in to a religious event. . . But I did learn that Poland has ‘Doughnut Day’ every year.

You know what this means right? Tomorrow marks the beginning of Lent. Goodbye Chocolate & Crepes. There better be a Galaxy Easter Egg waiting for me when I come home in April.
