VINTAGE SHOPPING à PARIS

by Aishling

Paris is full of incredible Vintage shops. There’s a mountain of them to be found down the narrow streets of Le Marais in the 4th Arrondissement. They are crammed with quality vintage gems – but be prepared to get your elbows out and dig to find the treasures.

8 rue Sainte Croix de la Bretonnerie
and
61 rue de la glassware
and
20 rue de Rivoli
Marais
75004 Paris

This is the first vintage store I found (Rue de Rivoli). It’s a treasure chest of vintage clothing and accessories. I got a gorgeous beaded bag (€5 major bargain) and a stunning beaded top. . .  cheap as chips!
And this is the store that’s on Sainte Croix de la Bretonnerie. It was more or less the same again – a massive selection of clothes ranging from printed dresses to denim and leather shorts and a rails of gorgeous jackets and jumpers. I treated myself to a cozy green knit jumper to beat the cold weather.

This is some random Vintage store that I stumbled upon. There seems to be a vintage shop on every street. This one was a bit more up market than the others. It was almost empty of shoppers but full of beautiful clothes. It’s a little more expensive too.

Coiffeur Vintage
32 Rue des Rosiers
 Marais
 75004 Paris

A small Vintage store packed with treasures. The window is lined with vintage bags to draw you in. It was crammed with goodies. I was in my element.

Tilt Vintage
8 Rue de Rivoli
Marais
75004 Paris

This is another vintage store that I stumbled upon. They are all within a few minutes walk of each other. It was a really organised store which was good for a change. It also had the best selection of denim shorts I have ever seen. Every colour under the rainbow.
