Field Day 2014

I went on the bumper cars for the first time since I was about 10. And realised what I’ve been missing out on all these years. SO. MUCH. FUN. I spied Florence Welsh watching Blood Orange from the side of the stage. She wasn’t the only one dancing along. But Metronomy were the hightlight and the headliners. Admittedly, I only knew one of their songs [The Look]. But still. So good.

The weather was amazing. My prayers to the weather gods obviously paid off. Instead of the forecast rain, we got glorious sunshine! So my leather jacket wasn’t needed after all.

The festival style was pretty awesome! I spent half the day people-watching. Kimonos, crop tops and faded jeans were the dominating trends. Sequins also made an appearance – on both guys & girls. As for me – I went with my pastel pink midi, trusty converse, grey tee and a stack of silver rings.
