Event / Logitech

by Aishling

Last week, I was invited by Logitech on an exclusive tour of Shoreditch to unlock the hidden stories behind the street art and to try out Logitech’s new tablet accessories. Needless to say, I jumped at the opportunity.

Breakfast at the very cool Hoxton Hotel kickstarted the event. In between sampling the croissants and freshly squeezed orange juice, we were set up with the new ipad Air 2 and the Logitech AnyAngle case. Then it was time to brave the cold.

A graffiti and street art expert from Graffiti Kings began by explaining a little bit about his background. He also told us that street art and graffiti are not the same thing.Street Art covers a broad range of techniques- stencils, pastes, stickers, even chewing gum can be used to create it. Endless anecdotes about street artists and background stories about street art kept us intrigued for the next two hours. Snapping photos on our ipads also kept us occupied. In that short space of time, I amassed quite a large number of photos.Typical.

After that we returned to the Hoxton Hotel. Professional Instagramer, Kate Forster, gave us an instagram masterclass. She shared tips about photo composition and editing using VoscoCam. While having lunch, we were also given the opportunity to try out the Keys to Go keyboards. This would be super convenient for anyone that blogs from their ipad. As for lunch, I’m still thinking about the brownies. AMAZING.

This was definitely one of the best events I’ve attended. Thanks Logitech & Brands2Life!
