Where To Eat In San Francisco

by Aishling

San Francisco was basically a series of good meals and desserts. Everything I tried was amazing (and I don’t say that lightly). The following are definitely worth checking out if you find yourself in that part of the world.

SF Beach Street Grill
380 Beach St
San Francisco
CA 94133

I couldn’t go all the way to America and not have pancakes. Located at the fisherman’s Wharf, this is the place to go for brunch.

Cream
3106 16th Street
San Francisco
CA, 94103

Cookie & ice-cream sandwiches are the specialty – so many delicious combinations. Their Instagram page is giving me serious cravings right now. Unfortunately, we went here after dinner one evening, so all I could manage was a half portion. FYI, I opted for chocolate chip cookies with cookie dough ice-cream. Indulgent.

Easy Breezy
718 Irving St
San Francisco
CA 94122

My first proper fro-yo experience. There are no words for how amazing it was. I had a dairy-free coconut frozen yoghurt with caramel sauce, cookie dough, peanut butter cups and strawberries. It was immense.

Marnee Thai
1243 9th Avenue
San Francisco
CA 94122

After an eleven hour flight, I was in need of a decent meal. We left my sister’s apartment without a solid plan and ended up having dinner at this place. I would definitely suggest the Thai Samosas to start – they exceeded expectations. The main course didn’t disappoint either.

Burma Superstar
309 Clement St.
San Francisco
Ca 94118

This restaurant doesn’t take reservations, so we showed up, added our names to the list and went to a pub up the street for a drink. We got a call when our table was ready. It was worth the wait. If you’ve never had Burmese food before, I would say it’s similar to Chinese.

Curry Up Now
659 Valencia St
San Francisco
CA 94110

Indian street food at its best. The menu has ‘naughty naan’ and ‘sexy fries’. What more could you want? The Tikka Masala burritos were so tasty that I basically cleaned my plate.
