I seriously can’t believe that I actually own it. I’ve always said to myself, when I get my first promotion, I’ll invest in a designer bag. But in 2015, I learned how short life is, how suddenly it can change and how important it is to live in the present.

The last twelve months were intense, exciting and demanding. I worked my ass off for my job. And I feel like I really progressed and took on more responsibility. So when the year was coming to a close, I was contemplating rewarding myself in some way or another.

This resulted in a trip to Harrods two weeks ago. Spending that much money on myself was daunting. But as soon as I laid eyes on this bag, I knew it was the one. The 10% off in Harrods was a bonus. The sales assistant was almost as excited as I was when I explained it was my first high-end purchase.

I couldn’t have made a better choice. It comes everyone with me, fits all my crap in it, and makes me happy just looking at it.
